Remote Learning - Reception

Welcome to Reception,

I am Mrs Gadhia and I am the class teacher and Miss Watson and Miss Harmsworth are the teaching assistants in Reception.

Together we are doing our live learning daily at 10 am and 11 am. I will be teaching and Miss Watson and Miss Harmsworth will be monitoring the chat and sharing children’s responses to learning.

Each day, there will also be various other activities scheduled daily for you to access on Tapestry. We are lucky to also have Mrs Jones who will be helping out with commenting on your work on Tapestry and scheduling some activities for you. Like the previous lockdown, we will be contacting you weekly to check if everything is going well.

Please do not forget to share all the amazing things you are doing at home on Tapestry/Class Dojo.

Each week, like the previous lock-down, we will contact you to check that everything is going well and to see if there is anything else we can do to help. Furthermore, we will be available through Tapestry and Class Dojo to mark the children's work and answer questions.

If children are self-isolating, they must still complete work daily following the timetable of their class and return work through Tapestry, so that the teacher can give summary feedback about areas for improvement.

If the year group bubble has to close, children will move to remote learning and continue to follow the timetable as much as possible.

Below is the remote learning timetable:
